    SOP/NDMA

SOP stands for Standard Operating Procedures and NDMA stands for National Disaster Management Authority.

SOPs are formal, written instructions that provide a basic concept of the operations and responsibilities of disaster management teams and other agencies. They are often used to describe how to safely perform work involving hazardous materials, equipment, or operations. They can also be used to provide guidelines for incident response.

The NDMA has developed Standard Operating Procedures for Disaster Management, which are intended to be a basic plan for engagement and coordination during crisis management after a disaster. The NDMA considers these documents to be dynamic, and plans to review and improve them based on experience gained after each major disaster.
